Margaret passed away peacefully on Thursday, 26th February 2026, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mystical Rose Nursing Home. Her family would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for her over the past nine years.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat, her Mammy and Daddy, brothers and sisters. Margaret will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Margaret, son-in-law Michael, her cherished grandchildren Andrew, Liam and Stuart, and her adored great-grandson Oscar, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
Funeral Arrangements
Sunday, 1st March 2026 - The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue
Margaret will repose in the Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue, (H91 FH52) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., with removal afterwards to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballybane.
Monday, 2nd March 2026 - St. Brigid's Church, Ballybane
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Margaret at 11.00 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, Ballybane, (H91 W293). Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Bohermore Cemetery, where she will be reunited with her beloved Pat.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Please Note: Access to the funeral parlour is through the front entrance of the main church. Wheelchair users or people with mobility issues can access the funeral parlour at ground level from the car park.
