Joe passed away on Thursday, 3rd July 2025.
Loving husband of Freda and dearly loved father of Jackie (Corby), Jamie, and Damien. He will be sadly missed by his adoring family, his cherished grandchildren Jane, Conor, Michael, Ella, Ben, and Mark, his son-in-law Frank (Corby), daughter-in-law Rosanne (Trehy), and Damien’s partner Deirdre. Deeply mourned also by his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786) on Sunday, 6th July from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Westside on Monday, 7th July in advance of Requiem Mass at 10.00 a.m. A private cremation will follow on Tuesday in Shannon Crematorium.
